Art is another field in which the University of Gothenburg has a distinguished
reputation. Sweden has made great contributions to the concept of Nordic
Design. At the School of Design and Crafts new talents are developed steadily.
Many ideas that were born here are visible in the furniture at IKEA, just
to give one example.
